We're happy to say that Justin got home last night! We spent our Easter Saturday just being together and relaxing. We went and saw "Horton Hear's a Who" and then visited the bunnies and chicks. Perfect Easter, eh? The kids are now all tucked in waiting for the Easter Bunny to come.
We look forward to our Sunday tomorrow celebrating our Resurrected Saviour. We are at awe once again as we think of Him and all he's done for us. We are so grateful that we will have the opportunity to rise again and in Sarah's words "my body will be okay again". We're full of gratitude when we think of the opportunity that this little girl will have to be a mother and wife when she's resurrected!
As Sarah and Spence were holding these little baby chicks and their Easter baskets today it crossed my mind that Spring and all these symbols represent a new birth. I love the reminders surrounding us each Spring of our Saviour!
