I had the best day with Sarah! I volunteered to go on Sarah's Kindergarten Field Trip today. We went to the Oil Ranch--and had a blast! This is a great place to visit; I'd love to take our family back. We milked cows, fed cows, went for hay rides, watched the horses, rode the train, jumped in the bounce house, played on slides, ate snow cones, and we could have spent all day long there and done more.
The first picture was my little group I was in charge of--Sarah, Caitlyn, and Kristina. Caitlyn is Sarah's best friend in her class and loves to play at recess and eat lunch with her.
Sarah was excited to milk the cow until she got up there and changed her mind. She made me feed the cows and I'll just say that tongue was disgusting. It felt more like slimy sandpaper. The cows were all right there--inches from our faces. That was quite the experience!
For those interested--Sarah's teacher is sitting on the hay ride, far right side. We love Mrs. Stacy! She's been so good for Sarah and we just filed paper work for her to be Sarah's teacher again next year. We're so excited for another great year in Kindergarten!
We're home now with a little more sun, and a little more tired then usual. Thanks Justin for being the wonderful husband and dad you are. He took care of Spence, mowed the lawn, made a hut, and vacuumed the house for us. This made it all the more fun!!!

The Oil Ranch is way fun! I love the swing thing. Glad you had a great time and hope you get to go back with the rest of the fam.
How fun that Sarah got to go and enjoy a day with her mom! I love her shirt, I must say. And, hoorah for a teacher you like. They are golden, aren't they!
Looks fun! Glad your getting some fun play time in! Tell Justin and the kids hello from us "folk" back in St. George!
How fun is that? Too bad she didn't make it to milking the cow...although I probably would have backed out, too. Way to brave the cow tongue!
Sounds like a great group activity... We should get a group together and go during the week when the kids get out of school! : ) Looks like you had a great time!
