I was asked to be the primary president two weeks ago. That is way too long to know about something but you can't do a darn thing. I admit--there's been a few sleepless nights, and it's really hard looking at people in the eye at church when you know they'll be serving with you and they don't know it yet. Those of you that were worried about me when I wrote this will now have a little light shed as to why I was having such thoughts. The night I wrote that blog was the night the Bishop came over to our house and asked me to be the president.
I'm down right excited because I love children; especially these children in our ward! Of course, I'm nervous but I know I have the Lord and wonderful counselors/secretary working with me! Here we go. . . .

Wow Megan.... You will have your hands full, but that being said you are completly capable and will do such a great job!!! The primary children will LOVE you!!! Good Luck!! and PS I do want to buy Airbonne, but I have to wait for a few weeks. The life of a college student is so fun!!! My skin needs help.
You'll do GREAT! My favorite calling was being in the primary presidency! You're lucky to have a "real" primary room! I wasn't so lucky. Good luck, you have a great presidency and people to support you!
Once they released the Primary presidency and then released you as a Primary worker I knew you would get that call. You are so perfect for the job - you just seem to be a natural with children. They are going to love you!!
Congrats!! What a job. The primary is where it all happens though. I just got called as a primary worker and love it. YOu will do great.
Congratulations!! You will be a perfect primary president!! Can't wait to be back in the ward next week!
Congratulations! I know you will be great and love it. I think Primary is by far my favorite auxiliary even if it's crazy at times. You'll have to share with us the fun, funny, and amazing experiences you'll have.
Congrats Megan! What a neat calling. Good luck in getting your Presidency together. I served as the 1st Counselor for about a year and I still miss the primary! I loved it! You'll be wonderful.
That is so great! You will do such a good job with it. You've always been a great leader.
Congratulations! You will do a great job! I can't believe we are old enough now to get called to positions like Primary President! Crazy!
When I read that, I just thought, "Wow, Megan is perfect for that calling." Then I turned to Jonathan and told him that you had just been called as Primary President, and the first thing he said was, "She's perfect for it." And apparently many other people (as seen by their comments) think the same thing! We know you'll be blessed and guided. Have fun!!!
You'll do great!! I'm sure you've chosen some great counselors too so you can't go wrong. The kids will love you!
I love your attitude about it all. You're always such an example to me! What lucky kids live in your ward!
Could there be anyone more perfect for this than you? You're so creative, organized and great with kids. Good luck!
You will be AMAZING!!!!
You will be wonderful, Megan...the kids will love you.
