The following are the furniture items she gave us. It's fun to have a real kitchen table and matching chairs. I've also enjoyed being able to shut cupboards on our tv and having many end tables (she gaves three just like the one below) and a beautiful book shelf to display things that mean alot to us.
We aren't totally in love with the color of this chair she gave us, but we're excited to get a slip cover or reapholster it someday along with our chase that's needing a face lift.
Thanks Grandma, Mom and Dad! It's fun to have a part of my childhood memories down here in Texas with us. I've loved hearing about stories of when these items became apart of Grandma's home. These end tables were some of the first furniture items Grandma and Grandpa purchased together. After buying the two square end tables, Grandpa surprised Grandma with the round end table on their anniversary. I have a feeling these are items that will be around in our life for a long time and probably passed onto our children too.

Raindrops is one of my all time favorite songs! Chelsi and I even went to a B.J. Thomas concert to hear him sing it in person. My favorite line, "I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'"
That is so cool. I have a few items from my grandma and whenever I look at these items, memories are refreshed. It is great.
Wow, not only do your grandparents have good taste, but now you get to enjoy it all, and on top of that you have great parents who were willing to drive it all down for you!! What a great family!!
I love the furniture! You are making me excited for someday when I can have new furniture in my own house too. haha...yeah that will be a long time though. I guess you guys had a while though till you got here, so we can too! We'll make it. You'll be our inspiration!! :)
