I went to help carve pumpkins in Sarah's kindergarten class on Halloween. The school's here don't dress up in their costumes on Halloween. In fact, they had Red Ribbon week instead. So, in a way they were dressing up all week long instead. They wore orange and carved pumpkins instead of having Halloween parties.
This is Hunter. He sits by Sarah and helped her design a pumpkin and carve it.
Mrs. Stacy showed all the parents there helping their favorite classroom song "A Tooty Ta". Sarah has been trying to sing this for me all year and I finally know what she was doing. You have to sing with your thumbs up, elbows back, feet apart, knees together, bottoms up, tongues out, eyes closed, and turn in a circle. Hence the picture! It was pretty funny! I think Sarah was the biggest dancer by far!
I loved visiting Sarah's class. I don't ever get to help because Sarah doesn't really want me there. She was asking for me this time; it made my day (year)! The most special experience was meeting Sarah's best little friend Chloe. She can't walk and wears a brace similar to Sarah's. I hear about her all the time, but didn't know who she was until today. Best part, they are moving to the next neighborhood over next month. These girls play together at recess almost everyday and their in special classes together.
Thanks, Mom. She has been here all week visiting and helped make it possible for me to leave Spence at home and make Sarah's day special.
