Tucking Him In

Spence: I'd really like to visit the north pole and maybe ride on Santa's sleigh to see all the reindeer.
Me: Maybe some day. That would be cool.

Spence: You know what'd be cool? If I could see Peter Pan and the pirates. You know the one that's kinda green with a red feather.
Me: Is his feather really red?

Spence: You wait here. (smile and stomp, stomp, stomp down the hall)
Me: What'd you find?

Spence: This is the one we should read tonight. It's Peter Pan, Mom! See his red feather! First I'll pray for our earth cause I really love our earth. (He knelt down quickly and plunged into his prayer)

Man, I love how this kids mind works. It just makes me smile!
