So, now the news is starting to circulate I guess I can talk about one of the things I least like about pregnancy. It's so depressing to look at something like a brownie or Justin's chocolate chip cookies that I know I love and it's gonna make me run to the bathroom and throw-up. What's up with that?
It is very comforting to feel very pregnant but a few months of this is going to make me really appreciate a regular old peanut butter sandwich again or just a glass of milk. I'll just say that I'm so glad for very patient kids and a even more patient husband--who'll scrub bathrooms, mop the floor, do dishes, and leave cooked meals in the fridge I can basically throw at the kids. Love this man!
I've spent way too much time throwing up (sorry folks) and losing weight. A few things have helped lately, but it's not fun forcing myself to eat. I must say that when I've had to be on my feet and up and about, I've been so blessed! I've had the strength to accomplish things I've needed to for my calling and needs of my family. I'm amazed at this blessing! So many things are falling by the wayside at the moment, but I pray for strength and get it when I really need it!
So, be patient with me, according to past experience I should have about eight more weeks of this and then over night I'll be a whole new woman that can't stop cleaning and organizing. That is until heartburn sets in and I get to sleep sitting up. But, I wouldn't want it anyother way. I have waited and waited for this moment--can't complain now.

Sad to hear you don't feel well, but HAPPY to hear you're expecting! When are you due?
Blah. Why is pregnancy so icky at the beginning? I am glad to know that you have a trend to look forward to, and 8 weeks to count down! You have looked radiant and pulled together every time I have seen you, so it sure is amazing that you have been dealing with so much! Keep up the great work! And Justin, too!
Sorry to hear your not doing so well. But Congratulations!! I'm so excited for you. And if you need anything let me know...you have looked great everytime I've seen you, way to pull it off.
Ah the joys of pregnancy! I hope you feel better soon. But I am so excited for your family. Sarah and Spencer will be such great helpers!
My OB said that being sick is a sign that the baby is progressing and growing. So, every time you puke, think that your baby is getting stronger. And does heartburn medicine work on you? I loved Prevacid. You have to get a prescription for it, but it was THE BEST.
Congratulations- when is the baby due?! Hope you get feeling better quick...
My due date is Aug. 29th. Seems so far away. I'm almost 12 weeks
hooray! I hope you feel better soon! Congratulations!
Congratulations!!! Sorry to hear your not feeling great. Seriously I think the miracle of birth is so amazing but its too bad that we go through SO much to get them. Totally worth it though!
Huge CONGRATS Megan!! I'm thrilled for you guys and thrilled for us to get another toe headed niece or nephew (maybe both - who knows). So sorry you're sick, been thinking about you and hoping you're surviving.
Congrats! I am glad to know you have started the countdown to when you can function again
Oh, Megan...
What a wonderful mother you are! Your blessings are increasing...they can be counted by each smile, hug, and each time you hear the word "Mom!". I'm proud of you.
All of my love,
Mom
Congrats!! That is so exciting! I am sorry about the sickness, that does not sound very pleasant, but it is all worth it in the end, right?!
Hi you don't know me at all but I'm a friend of Jen & Cindy McArthur's & she mentioned that you live in Texas- she was thinking it was the Houston area. We are moving there in a few months & I'm hoping to talk to some people about the good places to live, etc. I would love to email you a few questions, if you don't mind. My email address is emilee.carruth@gmail.com. Thanks a million!
Congratulations, that is such exciting news!! Sorry you're feeling so icky - I sure don't miss those days!! I guess going through all the icky days, the uncomfortableness of pregnancy, and the crazy deliveries makes us really appreciate the final product that much more!! I hope you start feeling better soon.
Ugh! So sorry to hear that you've been so sick! You hide it so well in Primary :) Hope the next eight weeks go by quickly!

Hi Meg...Sorry you're still so sick...Thinking of you! Tami
Megan--I'm SOOOOO happy that you are pregnant!! I know how much you have waited for this. You are SO allowed to complain :) Throwing up must be aweful! Isn't it so hard to look around from sitting on the couch and be thinking of all the things that need to be done? That was totally how it was for me this morning. I'm so happy to hear also that you guys were taken care of this Christmas season too. I'm excited to be due about the same time as you! Love you!
I have been thinking about you, too. This is such good news I completely understand THIS post way to much still 18 weeks into it, and my question is "when" when will this go away!!! Congrats Megan I am so happy for you!
