So long to the cradle . . .
On to this.It does feel a little strange to strap your baby to this thing, but it works! Oh does it work! She has slept 7-9 hours the last 3 nights. Until now, we were up almost every 1 1/2 hours and rocking, bouncing, running water, using heat packs, etc. It's worth the separation from mom and dad and the new rules that Sarah has to follow with the baby in her room too.
One other cool thing . . .
This heat pack is made of cherry pits. Yes. You heard right. You can heat it for 20 seconds in the microwave and it's pliable just like the frozen bag of peas that you use on your own bumps and bruises. Also, you can freeze it for 4 hrs. + and use it as an ice pack.
These two things are not only Allison's best friends but mine as well. She smiles again! This time the smiles continue for a few moments instead of vanishing into a wide open-mouth scream. Oh, happy day, happy day!

What a cool contraption! I wish we'd known about it when Joseph was tiny.
I am sorry to hear the last month has been so hard! Reflux can be a nightmare. Thank goodness she (and all of you) are getting some relief! I bet Sarah loves having her very own sister in her room!
I have never seen that gadget before- glad to hear she's getting more sleep (and you too).
I am so sorry to hear that she hasn't been feeling good. That is so rough when baby doesn't sleep and then you have to manage to take care of your other two kids too! You are amazing. Glad she is doing better now. She is so stinkin cute! I LOVE her hair! so adorable.
Oh! She is SO a Kroff baby. I'm glad that you found a good way to make her happy. It is worth doing whatever it takes sometimes.
I'm sorry you've been struggling. But you look dang skinny for just having had a baby. Will you be able to come to St. George for Thanksgiving? My goal is to have your Christmas present ready by then.
And funny quote by Spencer - love it. He can't contain himself.
My heart goes out to you! This brings back awful memories with Noah. I am so sorry. I hope she heals from it quickly. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Hang in there!
