This time I stayed home and Justin got to help Sarah and Spencer's fly their kites during their "specials" hour at school. I love that our school has structured PE everyday and then another specials class (computers, library, art, or music). This time they invited parents to come and experience Kite day with all the students.

It was reported that Spencer's experience wasn't all that successful. The wind had died down and his kite, um shall we say . . . blew up! Sarah and Spencer had inflateable kites--which are actually quite fun and usually successful, but this time devistating. Too bad it was Justin doing the blowing. There was a pretty sad boy and a Dad that felt really really bad that resulted. So, he borrowed Sarah's kite and after struggling to make it fly a little girl came and stomped on it . . . that one blew up too!

Sarah, on the other hand, as you can see on her face, used all that concentration to fly above most of the other kites! She called me on the phone just to tell me that it was flying!

Didn't Justin do it excellent job taking pictures? I feel like I was right there!
