One of the things that Justin and I love to do together is cook. Some of you may know that when he made his decision to be a pilot he was also toying with the idea of become a Professional Chef. This is all probably why we love the Hubble & Hudson Market that really isn't far from our home.
We spend many a date nights walking up and down the isles and can tell you about many of their sandwiches/soups at their deli. We love it! Pretty much every time we visit we comment to eachother that it would be fun to enroll in their Viking Cooking School upstairs. Of course it's always been a fleeting dream that in the future when we have way more cash flowing.
Well, Justin's Birthday was approaching and I never can surprise him no matter what I do. I really wanted to make this year special after laying on the couch through his 30th birthday last year (bed rest has it's ways of putting dampers on fun things like that).
I did my research and found that really one night out at their cooking school was really nice but not too crazy. I reserved a night for the both of us on his birthday! I was so excited and had paid for it so he'd never know. Too bad the card didn't go through and the lady from the school called while I was gone and talked to Justin. Needless to say it ruined the surprise AGAIN! Justin didn't tell me about it for a couple days cause he knew I'd probably cry, but he was surprised--just a little early.
Anyway, it turned out to be a really neat night together. We loved it!
