Mario World at the Kroff's

During Spencer's year of Kindergarten we would often read stories of his talking about "playing the Wii with my Dad" and then we'd see little letters he'd written inviting his friends over to have a "Wii party" at our house.

He finally got it--all fourteen of his boy buddies over to live in his World of Mario!!! It couldn't have been more fun.

He had school friends, church friends, neighborhood friends. We had red teeth from our mushrooms cupcakes and pockets full of coins they earned from Mario and Luigi challenges. Trophies were competed for, presents were opened, green yoshi juice and even a Mario movie to end with.

Justin and I got to make these fun decorations while the kids slept for nights before the party. We had a lot of fun trying to recreate the childhood memories we had on our nintendos and wanting to make Spencer excited for his big day!

Spencer's six!!! It's so hard to believe, but it was a blast watching him love these boy things. I loved that his friends know his love for outer space, cars, legos, etc. I loved even more the different kinds of friends he has and how he treats each one of them.

I'm with Justin... I hope you found someone to give the decorations too. They are AMAZING!!! There is some serious hidden art talent at the Kroff household.
