Of course there's the moments of "I hope the kids are being nice to Sarah" or "I wonder if Spence ate all his lunch" how about the times I think "why won't they tell me more details of their day." But . . .
his excitement and smile when he leaves/comes home tell me a whole lot! And . . .
her big hug and kiss when she gets home each day bring mountains of patience and joy from me I just can't describe.
So, as I see this each morning now, I think of all those marvelous years of sitting on the family room floor, knee deep in toys, and talking about colors, shapes, numbers, letters, etc. I treasure those moments and love watching them grow and learn from others in this big world--trusting that our family prayer each morning will keep them safe . . . keep them happy. . .and bring them home safe to tuck in bed each night. I love school!!!

I love the last part of what you wrote. It helps me think to slow down right now with my kids.
Oh, so many memories, so many 1st days of school, so many days shopping for just the right clothes to wear that 1st day, so much excitement, so much fear of what the day may bring. Thank you for the trip down memory lane!! Joel
Sarah, I love your new hair cut! You look beautiful. Spence, Your smile says it all! I love you both, more...! Keep on learning, growing, becoming.
