ORGANIZING! Wish I could do it during the summer, but there is something magical that comes with transforming closets while the kids are busy and at school. Here's Spencer's closets. I'll just mention that when I began this project I couldn't see the shelves and could barely open the door. Spencer had a clean room that he'd picked up all summer long, but there was interesting things going on behind his closet doors!
I love his clothes organizer. We've used one for a while now with Sarah, but decided to try it here too. Love it!!! Getting ready for school in the morning is sooo quick, we rotate through clothes much better, keeping the laundry going is easier, and Spence doesn't get overwhelmed.
Here's the girl's closet. Alli still uses the drawers, which makes lots of room for toys. A little more detail on the clothes organizers: a slot for Monday-Friday, shoes are in the bottom, Sunday is left to church clothes and we like leaving Saturday up in the air.
This has stopped all arguments about what matches what, stopped us from searching aimlessly through laundry piles, and constantly gives me an idea of where I stand in the "clothes needed area." One last thing--I have them help me put the clothes in when I'm done with laundry (gives them ownership)!

What a great idea with the daily slots for clothes, thanks!
