Beans and Bottles

We've had buckets of pinto beans, kidney beans, black beans and beans that we don't even know what they're called sitting in our food storage for years and years and haven't used them because of my laziness.

I finally changed that this week thanks to some other ladies around here that are much more motivated than me.  We all met together and were taught how to use a pressure cooker.  This is the fruit from our labors--I'm lucky to have them tucked away in our pantry in a usable fashion now!!!

Next time I hope to be bottling chicken.  Sounds fascinating, doesn't it?
