I happen to really enjoy homework time at our house. It starts with barefeet on the front porch waiting for the bus. Hugs and backpacks take us into eat a snack and start the "How was your day." I especially love the "Me listened to my teacher" from Sarah everyday.
Then we jump into spelling words, site words, books, math, etc. I like knowing what is up in those pretty little heads.
Today, Spencer ran into tell me that he's learning "The States of Matter." Than he ran in the kitchen, grabbed a cup, filled it with water and stuck it in the freezer.
"I'm gonna watch it turn into a solid, then take it in the bathroom, put it under the hot water, and watch it become a liquid again." Spencer told me.
My favorite though is that Justin went in the kitchen to see what was goin' on. He said he opend the freezer and saw a cup of ice cubes in there. Sarah told him she was watching the ice freeze.
Love these little minds.
And one more little mind at work. Alli is figuring sooo many things out these days. Shoes are definately on that list.
