Easter Weekend

Justin was gone flying over Easter but have no fear...there are lots of other pilot families too with Daddies off flying.  So...we dyed eggs and did an Easter Egg Hunt with one of those awesome families.

It was fun to watch Alli look around for an egg or two...wanted more when she realized there were "treats" inside, of course.

I admit I was really missing Justin when little faces kept appearing above my head all night asking if the Easter Bunny had come yet.  We finally just got up and went to find our baskets that Spence had already located and let us all know that it was for sure...the Easter Bunny had been there :)

OH the CHoCoLAte BUNNIES!!!  Those are the best memories, are they not?

Good old Boiled eggs for breakfast and then the attempt of a nice Easter Morning Family Picture before we take off for church.  Ummm...never mind:

It's much harder to do that with only one adult :)

This will have to do.  Not worth being late to church :)

Hope everyone else enjoyed their peeps too!!!

We had another pilot family without their Daddy over for Dinner.  I made Curry Chicken and Pear/Apricot Chutney...so yummy!

I love Easter.  I love that it reminds me of our Savior...my Savior.  The one that helps me through all my hard moments, lonely moments, worried moments, even happy moments because of his complete empathy, complete understanding and ultimate sacrifice for me.  I love teaching and sharing this with my children!!!  I love knowing that even though Justin wasn't here in person that he loves this too and that we share just that!!!

You mean everyone is allowed peeps, Marium told me we couldn't have any in the house, that is what I thought was true with everyone. I was snookered.
