Let's eat! I like the tradition my mom started of Christmas Eve Dinner...who wants to cook on Christmas?
My favorite thing of this whole Christmas was that my best friend was home!
We made cookies for Santa.
Justin read the Christmas Story out of the scriptures while the kids acted it out for us.
Our angel saying...with a wave of her hand!
My Grandma Gurr's tradition of Jesus' birthday cake on Christmas Eve also continues in our home. Then we follow up with Jesus Christmas present. We read the peices of papers that have our gifts to Him from last year (their in a gift box under the tree) and then we all wrote new ones for this year. I'm really loving this as Sarah and Spencer really take it to heart now.
We opened Grandpa and Grandma Kroff's traditional pajama gift and they were all excited!
I had to slow Alli down and get her to take her other clothes off first, but I wasn't allowed to touch her. She was repeating her regular "I'll do it, I'll do it, I'll do it!"
Of course a little Christmas Rockin' in our jammies!!!
Just turnin' the music up a little louder!
Spencer put our magic key on the front door because we still don't have a chimney. He told me this year that when we finally get a chimney some day that we should give our magic key to another family that doesn't have a chimney so Santa Claus doens't have such a hard time. Love the idea!
and the reindeer food before setting a plate of cookies and milk under the tree for Santa. The kids were off to sleep very quick after that.
My favorite part of Christmas is Christmas Eve...I really treasure each of these traditions!
