Our evening walk around the block turned into celebration. After trying to talk Spence into leaving the tricycle home so we could walk with out carrying a bike the whole way, we gave in. Spence started off pushing with his feet on the ground--just like he has since he was 1 year old. Just like we had said, Justin ended up carrying the bike.
The last street home Spence decided to try again. We couldn't believe our eyes, he actually proceeded forward with his feet on the pedals! Yes! He pedaled down the whole street! We thought for sure this kid would always prefer to push on the ground. Now, if we can just strengthen his endurance.
