Saturday night we came across Sarah's very swollen ankle. We don't how she got it, or what she was doing to make such a thing happen, but it's been a weekend of strengthening my arm muscles as I tote Sarah everywhere we go: upstairs, to the bath tub, to the couch, stake conference, the store, the doctor's, down stairs, then upstairs again, shall I continue.
This morning we were able to take her to see the doctor and she's got a classic sprained ankle! It could be worse, but we were told to keep her off her foot for 5 days from Saturday. No school until Thursday.
These images popped in my mind as I got these two sitting at the window to draw pictures; it's also been pouring rain since 5 o'clock this morning.
"Too wet to go out" (I'll add ankle too swollen to play), "So all we could do was to Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit!"

A sprained ankle?!? Wow! I bet she's hanging in there like a real trooper, and I'm excited to see your super strong muscles from toting around a little body for a week!
What? An amazing buff mom. Thats too bad for her, help her hang in there faster it will get better :)
It was a perfect day to just SIT, with all that rain! That's too bad she hurt her ankle, hope she recovers quick. Think of the big muscles you are going to have.
So cute! I am sorry to hear about Sarah's ankle, I hope she feels better soon! I have sent you a couple of e-mails and haven't heard back from you. Have I been sending them to the right e-mail address? It looks like you have had fun with family there!
Looks like you guys had a great time with Steve and Brittany. Jealous. The Zoo does sound tempting. We will have to see about getting out there. Tell Sarah that Uncle Ben loves her and hopes she gets better soon.
