First Yard Sale!

Just call me Mrs. Sales. I've been wanting money to paint the rest of our house and do a few projects, sooo I had a yard sale. It was fun too--since Justin was away at work, the kids and I priced a few old furniture items, some clothes, some toys, some just stuff. I earned $150. I'd say this was success--yes? I'll have to post my project outcomes in a little bit. Just give me a week or two.

I love garage sales even if I don't always buy anything one mans junk another mans treasure!

Congrats on your spoils. Usually yard sales are about getting rid of your junk, so profit is an added bonus to not having to call the Salvation Army to come for a pick-up. (I assume that's who you call outside of Utah.)

Wow, that sounds like quite the success!! I don't know if I could sell enough in our place to be worth $150. I love your preschool post, too. It sounds like the kids are learning lots and you have come up with such creative ideas!!

Hey Megan,

My name is Kyle Larkin. You may not remember me as we've only met once, but JUJ and I were once quite close friends. I've lost contact over the years and just happened on your blog and thought I'd try and get a hold of Justin. If you'd let him know that I'm trying to get a hold of him, I'd greatly appreciate it. My family and I currently live on Oahu, Hawaii. Justin can contact me either through our blog or at 808-286-3123. You have a beautiful family. I hope that we can get in touch soon.
