Almost daily the kids are told to sit down and draw a picture then write a story about it (they must sound out their own words). They must write their name and the date at the top. This was Sarah's that she did all by herself.
Sarah's teacher saw what a good job she was doing and decided to sit down and just prompt her to sound her own words out to write her own story in sentences. She turned Sarah's paper over and this is what she did.
Translation:
I go t trt.= I go to church.
Mi Mom is at Hom. = My mom is at home.
I Lik Mi Bruzr. = I like my brother.
We are absolutely at awe with Sarah this year in school! Every second, hour, month, year I have spent with Sarah doing therapy really does pay off. Justin and I never in a million years thought she would be writing stories or reading like the other Kindergarten kids. I absolutely give all the credit to our Heavenly Father--he's lead and guided us every second with this little angel. She has important things to do here!
