Remember doing this . . .

Spence came running inside and asked me to draw a hopscotch for him. I'm not sure where he got the idea, but it was fun! We had a blast!

Lately I've been teaching Sarah "See See Oh Playmate" and a few other hand clapping games that I knew when I was little. I've also been teaching Spence how to play marbles. I can't wait to teach them "Four Square" or "Chinese Jump Rope". Isn't it fun passing these things along? I can't believe my kids are old enough to do these things with. I love it!

I wish I could find a chinese jump rope anywhere. I'll just have to make one, huh. I loved that. I would play it for hours using chairs to hold the rope in place. Good times.

Yes, I totally remember that. In fact, I bet we did many of those together!! How fun Justin surprised you like that for your B-day. How sweet of him!

It is so fun to see kids get older and able to do more things. It's funny how we can still enjoy things we did as kids as well!!

Hey Meg,

Tell Spencer that his grandma used to be the champion hop scotcher! (such a word?)

Next time I come, I'll challenge both of you to a game!

Love,
Mom
