Huge "Quiet" Celebration

Huge--because it's been seven and a half years! Quiet--because Sarah would be absolutely mortified if she really understood what I'm about to announce. I do it mostly for those Prader-Willi parents out there that read my blog. I just want you all to know that it can happen and it will!

Sarah no longer wears pull-ups at night!!! It is an absolute miracle! She actually wakes up and goes to the bathroom when she needs to and no pull-ups no more! Justin and I are soooo excited we can barely stand it. Potty training has been a very long long road for us.

She was completely potty trained during the day by the time she was about 4 years old. This took us forever. We started before she was 2 years old not knowing her diagnosis yet and not having any idea of the road we were about to start on. Honestly her early intervention preschool had a lot to do with this as well. She hasn't been able to control herself at night at all until this last year and not completely until this last two weeks. We officially threw away the rest of her pull-ups today!

congrats to one and all! We're heading to St. George tomorrow and bringing your Christmas present with us. Be sure to get it when you're there. Bummed you guys won't be there with everyone else.

Hooray! We've been through YEARS of pullups, too. I know how excited you must feel! Give her a huge (quiet) hug from us... but you don't have to tell her why.

Love creates miracles. Miracles change lives when understood. Thank you for the miracles.
