We took a little of the Houston weather with us and experienced down pouring of rain for a week straight in St. George. It was incredible. It was raining in Pine Valley too--not snowing! The Virgin River was the fullest I've ever seen it!!! Flooding was happening all over. We kept watching the bank disappear!!!
Spencer was loving the rolls that Aunt Staci made!
I got to play Christmas hymns for the family to sing along after a fabulous piano recital from Brigitta.
Here's all the grandkids (well, we're missing Paul & Amy's 5 kiddos) in their pj's from Grandma and Grandpa Kroff.
Sarah was loving that she matched her girl cousins!
Christmas morning, Spence found his "Science Book" from Santa to be the most fascinating thing ever!!!
Alli was so excited about her OWN baby doll that she could barely stand it!
Spencer is still building new muscles to handle this whopper of a Nerf gun!!! Wow!
It's tradition in the Jennings home to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus, so I whipped up the usual Jesus' birthday cake and had the Kroff's sing along with us. Of course, I handed out coins to those that got tooth picks in their piece... just like Great Grandpa Gurr used to.
Then off to prepare for Santa...reindeer food, magic key on the front door, milk and cookies by the tree...then off to bed.
The best gift I've ever seen for Sarah is this "Miss Kim" head!!! She loves this, and is constantly braiding, combing, braiding, combing. We try our best to store it away for the night so the creepy feeling of someone watching us doesn't happen...he he he.It's special to spend Christmas morning with grandparents. This hasn't always happened for us and we were all loving it!!!
I want our kids to grow up knowing their grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles...they teach them so much. I love that they treasure these moments too!So many fun things to remember...movies with cousins, playing in the snow in Pine Valley, going to church in Pine Valley, eating lunch at Cafe Rio, Christmas Shopping, playing with Ebony, birthday lunch with my sisters, visiting Amy/Ed, feeding the horses with Steve, watching Hallmark Christmas movies with my mom, going to the park, watching the river, visiting great grandmas...my most favorite part of the holidays was getting to spend time with Justin when he would fly in. He may have missed the actual Christmas but we have relived it time and time again with pictures and videos with him. Man I love this man!!!
