During December...

I braided Alli's hair for the first time, we decorated the tree, listened to christmas music, read christmas stories and did lots of talking on the telephone to our family back home--mostly in support of my wonderful sister Jocelyn and her family!!!!

I made this wonderful "Bow Board" with a few of my favorite friends.  We gave this to Sarah for a christmas gift!
We still had a couple of our Friday night pizza nights--the movies were christmas ones of course.  After refusing to sit in her high chair close by, Alli is now one of the big kids that gets to picnic on the blanket too.  The best was watching her try to hold the pizza and place it down on her napkin again with out it flipping upside down again and again.

We're still getting used to this man of our house flying in and out!  So glad he's happy!

We loved sharing little christmas magic moments through the eyes of our children!!!

We whipped out the old acrylics and made another decoration this year!

Oh, and practiced the piano!  Sarah and Spencer played in their very first piano recital the night before we flew to St. George.
Sarah played "Jingle Bells" and did a fantastic job.  I was so proud of her for standing up in front of everybody and saying her name just like the other kids--this was huge for her!!!

Spencer played "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" and "The Statue".  At one point he scratched his ear and lost his hand position.  After a little help from me he was able to continue.  My favorite part was his huge bow down to his knees!!!  I asked him how it was after.  He said "I thought I would be really nervous, but I wasn't."
After the room cleared for refreshments.  Justin and I were lingering just long enough to see Alli climb right up on the bench, play a little song of her own, and then she sat up straight and clapped for herself too--  Another piano student in the making!!!
Her is 6 of my nine piano students.  I love this part of my life!!! Music makes me happy!
