So, because of our airplane travels, we shipped our Santa gifts back to Houston in big old box and put the mailman to work instead of me in the airport.
When we flew home we had another Christmas with the family presents we had wrapped and left under our tree. Sarah made me this calendar at school--loved it! Mostly I loved how excited Sarah was to give it to me. Mmmm, love the true meaning of Christmas!
Spencer bought and wrapped this ring for me all by himself!!! My heart grew a little bigger again!
Sarah bought and wrapped an airplane for Spence all by herself. Spence bought and wrapped a board for Sarah to write notes on and hang on her bedroom door. Seriously I don't think there is a better feeling than watching your kids take care of each other!
Sarah and Spence gave Allison this little brush that folds and unfolds; the best part is it had a mirror in it too. Alli has always been so intrigued by mirrors. Justin and I gave her the costume. She's become so consumed by clothes lately and loves to try and put anything on and of course twirl around!
As I've been unpacking, cleaning, taking down Christmas, Spence came to me and said "I really want to make my room look like Outer Space." He's been working on it too! Lucky for him, his gifts he was given had a theme to match. Notice the planets that are hanging under the top bed on his bunk bed in the background. On the wall under there, Spence has also been drawing his own planets.
I love sitting back and seeing the personalities and character of each of my children. It's fun to see that at Christmas time, the gifts that are given to each person so match that!!!
It's been a fantastic year. We're so blessed and so loved!

Looks like your Christmas was packed with fun! I just have to tell you I have been referencing your green smoothie recipe daily now for about a week. For Christmas I got myself a Vita-Mix blender and we are loving it! I have eaten more veggies in the past week than I have in one year combined! We are loving it! If you have any other tips or good things you do, I would love to hear more! Thanks for sharing!
