Ka-chow!!! Spence is 7!!!

Spencer turned 7!!!

His fun Dad, painted this amazing Lightning McQueen for him!

Being the crazy people we are, we all woke up at 4:30 in the morning to celebrate.  We had our usual birthday breakfast with Justin before he had to fly away.

I will never forget Spencer's face that morning when we went to wake him up!  I'm sooo glad we woke up so early.  Daddies blueberry pancakes, sausage and eggs were the best!  We would do anything for this amazing boy!!  We gave him his first watch, the Pokemon cards he's wanted for ages, new shoes and a few Magic Treehouse books.

Lightning Mcqueens car wheel fell off so we plopped it on a plate and stuck candles on it...he he he!

Can't believe there are seven candles on that cake!  Every one of those years have been the best!

A few days after Spencer's real birthday we waited for Justin to get home again and had his buddies over for cake/ice-cream and then Justin took them all to go see "Cars 2" in the theater.  It was a blast!  The boys loved it!

I love celebrating Spencer's life!  He has been the calm protector in the family.  I so love his sensitive heart, his willingness to help his mother, the way he treats his sisters, his love for the world, the way he admires his Dad, his love for all the colors, his math brain and the way he lays his head on my shoulder when I'm reading to him in his bed.  I always know when I'm raising my voice a little too much because he starts to get tears in his eyes.  He amazes me with his understanding of money and time.  He loves to know how things work and why.  His inquisitive little mind makes me sooo happy!  I needed Spencer in my life 7 years ago and Heavenly Father knew it!  He has blessed me way more than I will ever be able to help him!!!

You guys have quite the stack of birthdays all in a row! Awesome posters (good idea!) and looks like all the parties were fun!
