Last Adventures in St. George
Family has always been very important to me and Justin. It was hard to make the decision to move out here to Texas for that very reason, but it was also an okay decision to make because it sure does ingrain that love as well. For both our little family of five and the ones we don't get to see everyday.
The trips aren't easy. It took us trying to get onto 5 flights the day we went out. We almost gave up and went home but we're learning to not only "Enjoy the Journey" of life but living in airports as well. We made it. The ride home got delayed a week as well. We're glad that happened. A few things like this trip to the temple wouldn't have happened if we hadn't stayed.
We went with Grandma Jennings to watch the new "Family" display at the visitor. So neat and so thought provoking. It really touched my kids!
I left there that day really hot but also with all the thoughts of our eternal family. I'm really glad that I'm sealed to my children but I'm also intensly glad that I am sealed to my parents, my grandparents, my siblings, my ancestors. It makes me who I am. It makes me not alone and gives me a purpose. I'm so grateful for this gift and pray every day that I can endure to keep those promises alive!
I love that I catch these two holding hands all of the time! They may fight as well but they're great friends :)
All of these things inspired me to dig in the old family albums and find a few things. I did this on that extra week as well. I'm glad I was still there. More stories to come...
