Pilot Over Night

I got to spend two nights in San Antonio with Justin while he was "technically working."  He had a two night-over night there and we swapped kiddos with some pilot buddies of ours.

Amazing how much easier it is to exercise next to your best friend and a beautiful river!  Loved waking up to this in the morning.

I quite enjoyed my introduction into pilot life style.  Justin's got a little routine for sure and I'm starting to not feel very bad for him when he's gone ;)

Did your jaw drop?  I know!  Unbelievable ain't it?!?!  His Restaurant has been on the "Food Network" channel on TV on a show called "Man vs. Food."  Of course...Justin watches it often.  This was not just a gigantic cinnamon roll but seriously the best one I have ever tasted!!!!  It was sooo yummy and we both picked at it for days!!!

Your jaw dropped again, didn't it?!?!  World's Biggest Chicken Fried Steak right here!!!

On the way to Market Square to do some shopping we got to experience a really neat Art Exhibit...it really inspired both Justin and I to pursue our art talent more.

We came across this really cool bench on the River Walk.  It reminds me of the benches talked about in my new found favorite book "Remembering Isaac" by Ben Behunin.  Check it out...you won't regret it!

Then off to the night life on the River Walk after a swim in the pool.

We ate at this beautiful Italian Restaurant called Paesanos.  It was some the best food I have ever tasted.  I'd really like to go back some day.

Came across this fun shop on the River walk as well.  These beautiful candles are NOT wax.  They are carved out of "glowing stone" from Park City Utah.  They do the carving there in San Antonio.  We just loved hearing a little of our Utah and our Texas!

Not only did my jaw drop, but my mouth watered. :) And, I had to throw out a couple "Oh my word!"'s. :) So much fun. Those candles are incredible. Looks like a fun time.
